This is what happens when the office gets a new whiteboard.

I got a chance to play with an Arduino Duemilanove + LoL Shield.
Here is what I came up with:

Yes, its not very impressive, but it seemed appropriate.

Neither of the boards are mine, they belong to a coworker. He built the LoL Shield from the kit and uses it for his own purposes. We were able to make a program that does some randomizing and keeps track of each cycle–while not very practical, it was a good way to learn the Arduino code. I may post another video + code another day

This month, March, is the last month to hold a MUNI pass in your hand. SFMTA decided that it would be a great idea to switch to the new Clipper Card (all passes for the local transit agencies on one RFID-enabled card.)

Last time I was in Portland (oregon) I had the chance to pass through Mt. Tabor. Walking amongst the trees and along the trails gave me a sense of back-to-nature relief. Next time I visit I plan to send more time at 636 feet.
